For many of our students, everything appeared to be new today.
Tomorrow we will put down our cameras and head to la Carpio, an immigrant community to work on an ongoing street leveling project run by a local community organization.

The flight is 1 hour to Atlanta and about 4 hours from Atlanta to Costa Rica.
The students will be building roads and possibly clearing trails.
We've all faced small challenges along the way; not speaking great spanish, waiting for a flight, homesickness. But everyone is trying to stay focused on our goals.
