Day One
Daontay 18,
So we arrived in Costa Rica today with some interesting events, one being Mr. Oliver's luggage being left behind. The country is beautiful, to say the least. I can't wait to explore. Today, with settling in and all, we didn't really get to interact with people as much as I would've liked. We did meet Jose, who was a guide from last year's group, and we got to see his new learning institution. Also, going to the supermarket was enjoyable. Most of the products were American though, which was surprising. I can't wait to try speaking Spanish. Well, tomorrow's a big day, we head to La Carpio to begin our service project. And the fun begins.
